The link between the Vision, the Mission and the Strategic Objectives of a company make it possible to
relate the goals that the functional and project areas must achieve in a given period of time. Furthermore, in the definition of the scope of the project and product, the restrictions, assumptions, externalities
are associated as guarantors of the understanding of the business idea. In this article, good practices
defined by the Project Management Institute are integrated with the company's own needs considered
from the value groups. Finally, the opportunities for improvement that a model company has to go from
strategy to effective project management are specified, thereby guaranteeing the contribution of value.
