This paper offers a production growth analysis model for a restaurant that participates in a gastronomic contest which boosts the demand, as is the case of the event known as Burger Master. Despite its relative new presence in the foodie environment, the seven-day contest known as Burger Master (which pretends to choose
the best hamburger in Colombia using social networks) has become an economic, cultural and gastronomical
success in the country. This paper aims to show, using an income analysis methodology, how should be the
increase in the production function for each restaurant in the contest in order to keep at least the same level
of gross income of a normal week. It is expected that this paper is useful for the analysis (from the point of view
of the producer-contestant) of different food festivals that imply a special discount during the contest, and
useful as well for the students of business management of the Universidad Nacional and other institutions.
